Group 8 -- 1966-1974 Historic CanAm Cars

Maybe the wildest, hairiest racing class of all time, the CanAm series featured cars of unlimited engine size and few other restrictions.  The series attracted the ace drivers of the era and the top constructors.  The fun ended when Porsche out-engineered and out-spent the other teams and crafted the unbeatable 917/30 cars.  Everyone else quit and the series died.
