MacDonald drove this car at a NASCAR event at Riverside in 1963 (or 1964?).
 
 

Note bright orange color and sponsorship from Jim Simpson & Paramount Chevrolet.  They were also MacDonald's sponsors with his winning #00 Corvette Special in the pre-Cobra days of 1962.  I know nothing about the 1960s Riverside NASCAR events except that Dan Gurney usually won, so I'd appreciate any info on these races.
