Ken Miles won the main event at Laguna Seca on June 5, 1960 in Otto Zipper's Porsche RS60 after Bob Drake in Joe Lubin's Maserati Type 61 "Birdcage" was slowed by mechanical problems.   This was the first race weekend your then 12 year old webmaster attended.
