"If you've ever attended the Monterey Historics, the Wine Country Classic, a "Classic Sports Racing Group (CSRG)" or other West Coast vintage sports car racing events, then you've no doubt seen a familiar sight: a bright red Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, #9, circulating quickly around the track.  The proud owner of this particular Ferrari was David Love, who first came into contact with the Testa Rossa ("redhead" in Italian) 46 years ago.  The two raced together almost continuously until David lost his long battle with Parkinson's Disease in the fall of 2013."   (From Gary Horstkorta's encomium to Love in the race program.)
