| Sorrell Special --2
Ken Hammond bought a Sorrell body on eBay and plans to recreate one
of the cars. These photos came with the body and he contributed them
to the website.

| The Sorrell Special in the pits at Riverside. This could be
either the October, 1961 "L.A. Times GP" or the March 3-4, 1962
amateur event.
Mike Larkin describes this photo: "The Sorrell-Larkin Special. The second body I built for Bob. That's Bob's Mom holding his dog called Gay. Bob has his hands in his pocket and his back to us. That's Sorrell's old black Cad and black El Camino next to the car. Not sure who the other guys are." |

"Thats Eric Hauser looking at the car in front of my brother Jim Larkin's shop. I visited that shop about six months ago. Nothing had changed. The garage door is still slanted to one side when opened. This was 40+ years ago. Wow." |
