The course was located
high in the Santa Monica Mountains, north of Malibu, south of the San Fernando
Valley. The name came from Paramount Studios, which used the property
as a location for shoot 'em' up Western movies.

Jack Bates leads in a Mercedes-Benz 300SL. He spun, opening the door
for Oker & Parkinson's famous battle.
Bates finished third. |
