| (10-18-08) From website contributor and historic racer Bob
Engberg:
"This was the Lotus Mk.6 owned by Ed Freutel. He drove it along
with
Frank Monise (who wrenched it) and, I think, sometimes by Harry
Hanford."
(10-23-08) From Michael Jacobsen:
"Hanford never drove this car. His was another Mk.6 (now owned
by Walter Okon of Thousand Oaks). "
(10-24-08) From Walter Okon (owner of the ex-Hanford
Lotus Mk.VI).
"Ed Freutel owned it and, with Frank Monise, raced it from Nov. '55
to sometime in 1956 when it was sold to Jean Oddous who in turn sold it
to Bob Brigham in 1958. It ran #55 while with Freutel/Monise. Oddous
used #90, sometimes with Don Roberts driving. So the picture is of Oddous
or Roberts, sometime between 1956-58." |
