Dan Gurney's Lola T-70-Ford -- 1966

Dan Gurney's sleek All American Racer's Lola T70 was a top contender in the first year of the CanAm, winning the second race in the series at Bridgehampton.
 
 

At Riverside, in spite of beautiful preparation and running on Gurney's home circuit, this super-potent car lasted only one lap.  Gurney DNF'd with clutch failure.
