Longtime Northern California Corvette ace Paul Reinhart bought the ex-Pedro Rodriguez Genie-Chevy and campaigned the car through the mid and late 1960s.
 

Reinhart finished 9th At Riverside in his colorful Purple ? Orange "Union 76" sponsored car.  A week later at Laguna Seca Reinhart finished fourth behind winner Jim Hall's Chaparral II, 2nd place Don Wester ? 3rd place Dave Ridenour, also in Genies.
