Laguna Seca Can-Am:  Oct. 13,1968  "Monterey Grand Prix"

John Cannon used the advantage of superior rain tires to win this wet Can-Am event in his obsolete McLaren Mk.2B-Chevrolet. He lapped the much faster (in the dry) factory McLarens of Denny Hulme and Bruce McLaren.
