Wester at the "Port of Stockton" SCCA races on April 14-15, 1962. He finished 3rd both days and 2nd in Class "B" Production both days. The Monterey Peninsula produced a great crop of top-line racers in the 1960s. Along with Wester, Ed Leslie and Chuck Parsons both won national titles.
