Don Hulette -- 3

For the October 1960 pro races in California Hulette upgraded to the ex-Wayne Weiler, ex-Jim Connor, ex-Bill Pollack Lister-Corvette.

Hulette rounds Turn 6 at Riverside in the Lister.  He won a 5-lap "Consolation Race" to qualify for the 200 mile main event.  Starting near the back of the grid in 28th position he drove a great race and by the 6th lap was up to 13th.  He crashed in the "esses" on the 7th lap, escaping major injury.

The car burned but was rebuilt as the "Sorrell Special" with a body by Mike Larkin.
