Turn 5 has many advantages for the photographer.  It looks almost directly north and has the arc of the sun behind the shooter (at least in August!) for most of the day. 

Also, there are several shots available:  This one, which presents the cars at an attractive 3/4 front angle, and the "motion blur", which benefits from the straightaway exiting the corner and the bright signage on the opposite side of the course.    (page)
