The outside of Turn 9 is one of the last "Natural looking" shots remaining at Laguna Seca.  Almost everywhere else the course features ugly tire walls & equally ugly catch fencing.  The low retaining wall here isn't a problem and the trees and the red/white curbing add to the shot.
