The leaders power down the corkscrew on the first lap of the event.  Noel Park in his #58 1958 Corvette leads #3 Bobby Rahal in his 1961 Ferrari 250GT SWB; Orwin Middleton is next in his #113 1957 Corvette and #59 is Ron Cressey of Sherman Oaks, CA.  Cressey finished 4th in the race.
