The next lap Mac catches Terry Gough of Reno, NV.  Gough was among the fast group battling for third.  He ultimately finished 7th in his 5359cc. 1965 Corvette Stingray.  At this point in the race Rob Walton was far in the lead in his yellow Ferrari 250LM and Derek Bell ran a strong second in Carroll Shelby's Cobra Daytona Coupe.
