Hardison finished 22nd in his 5550cc. car.  He leads 26th place finisher Greg Meyer in his 5408cc. 1958 Devin SS through the esses.  The Echidnas were quintessential homebuilts, created over a long Minnesota winter by three friends out of the most mundane parts.  They were fast.  Even with their cut-down Chevy car frames, they could challenge Scarabs on a good day.
