Mike Larkin Recreates the "Sorrell/Larkin Special"

Mike Larkin, along with his brother Jim, has a long history in Southern California racing.  Recently he was known as the owner of Old Yeller I.  After selling OYI, he has fabricated several cars, most recently this amazing recreation of the Sorrell/Larkin Special, remembered for its fiery end at Riverside Raceway on March 4, 1962.

Mike leans on his beautiful car.  Mike fabricated a series of fiberglass bodies "back in the day" that were used on the original "Sorrell/Larkin Special" and on Andre Gessner's "Twareg".
