Bruce McLaren in #4 and Denny Hulme in #5 McLaren M8Bs lead the field for the 10-26-69
Riverside CanAm race through the "esses" on the pace lap.  Hulme won the race while team leader McLaren DNF'd.  Directly behind Hulme is Chris Amon in the Ferrari 712P.  This huge- engined (7 liter V12) Ferrari was disqualified for a push-start.
