"Sting" -- 2 At Willow Springs
On July 16th 2003 your
webmaster again assisted Mac Archer
and Eric Bernhard in a test of Mac's newly restored "Sting" CanAm car.

| An oil pressure problem
cut the test short and Mac only drove a few laps. I was lucky to
catch him here as he exited Turn 1.
The aerodynamic problems
discovered at the earlier Buttonwillow test
session are solved and Mac enjoyed the car's handling in the high-speed
Willow Springs corners.
