Great view of Turn 6 from the wooden platform.  In the old days there was no catch fence here, and drivers that suffered mechanical failure or lost control could plummet down the steep slope into the oak trees below.

Jack Graham, for one, experienced this in his Ferrari Testa Rossa in 1960.  The Graham car was restored by David Love and raced for decades in historic events.
