| The Lexus
LF-A is an exotic GT car concept. It's powered by a newly-developed
500-horsepower V-10 engine that is capable of pushing the car beyond 200
mph.
The feature that blew your webmaster away was the replacement of
conventional rear- view mirrors with video cameras placed in the little
stubs mounted on the "A" pillars.
This idea is long overdue. It makes the Ray
Harroun-inspired circa-1911 "elephant ear" rear-view mirrors on all
other cars look not only obsolete but ridiculous. |
