"A Production Vette #81 is Bud Willner and not Herb Caplan.  I also thought it was Caplan.  I think it's his old car which he always ran with #8.  Bud seems to have added the 1 to the existing #8.

C sports racing Elva #68 is Butch Owsley".

The # 8 Corvette is the old 1965 HERB CAPLAN 396 A/P car now driven by BILL WILLNER.  I don't know that history. MY HISTORY OF THE CAR IS ON THIS LINK.
