Guy Anderson's "Falcon" Mystery Car

From Guy:  "I have the only complete factory-built 1957 Falcon by Ashley from England and would like to know if anyone has pictures of it racing in the USA in its early days."

If you can help Guy with photos, magazine articles, or info on his car:

Please email me!

(5-14-11)   From John Bradley:

"As soon as I saw the "Falcon" mystery car, I recognized an old ride of mine.  The shots below were taken in Tampa in front of my house. The last I heard of it, it went to Jacksonville, Florida, in late 1968. From there I know nothing.

MG 1622cc engine.
I think Triumph front suspension/brakes and rear axle.
Very fragile birdcage-like frame."

5-18-11    From Guy Anderson:

Hello Tam, Many Thanks for the pictures.... I love them. The car in the pictures is not mine. The car in the Pics is a later model Falcon Competition MKIII with the lift up( tilt) front Engine cover.... the rear lifts backwards as well. But the most noticeable difference is, that the car in the pictures is a RHD and my car is a Falcon Competition MKII LHD version.

Thanks again for some really neat pictures , I hope more come in . I am hoping that some Ferret pics will surface also. This is Fun."
