At the Monterey Historics in 1997 Peter Hardman drove the 1959 LeMans winning Aston Martin DBR1 in group 4B. He won this Sunday event, the first overall victory for an Aston Martin in Laguna Seca history. The drivers in the 1959 LeMans victory were Briton Roy Salvadori and American mega-hero Carroll Shelby. |
