Building Larry's "Desert House" -- 9

Back to wall building.  The two-sided interior wall in the foreground is key as it highlights the main living area of the house.  We saved our best stones for this wall.

A good view of the scaffolding system and formwork.

The front side of the back wall also got our best stones.  The garage side (later another bedroom) of the back wall won't be visible from the living room.

There are a lot of forms to pull here.  Probably most of our form sections are in use.

The special living room wall poured to its six-foot height.

We always tried to place stones so that they spanned pour sections.  This prevented a "stacked domino" look.

We hoarded these colorful, well-shaped stones for this special wall.

The next level of forms nailed in place but not yet secured.
