Bob started the 1963 season at Riverside on February 2-3 in the ex-Bill Krause Maserati.  Bob leads ???? in a Lotus Mk.23, Jerry McGee in his bronze-colored #199 Kurtis-Chevrolet, and race winner Bill Sturges in his tail-finned Cooper Monaco.
