Chuck Brassell -- 1956 Corvette

This looks like Pomona.  Can anyone ID the driver and the date of the event?

"My bet is the unknown black Corvette on Tibbetts' picture is CHUCK BRASSELL, shown here at Pomona in 1956. Chuck owned a '56 Corvette, 265/225hp, 3 speed."
